Yes, but only if they overspend much/when there is some unnecessary spending in public funds

There should be a balanced budget that factor appropriate spending and national debt. Also, reduce taxes on middle and low-income citizens and use the money to fund any new programs.

New Jersey cancels $100M in medical debt

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) announced Wednesday the state would cancel $100 million in medical debt for nearly 50,000 residents.“Medical debt can follow someone for decades.
