The Japanese Party of Hope, or Kibō no Tō in Japanese, was a political party in Japan that emerged in the lead-up to the 2017 general election. It was founded by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike as a conservative and reformist force aimed at challenging the long-standing dominance of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and offering a fresh political alternative.
